The Directors of Nursing meet three times a year to discuss, and act upon, issues affecting University Hospitals from the perspective of a Nurse Director.

The group maintain a good working relationship with the Academy of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Visitors Research and the Council of Deans of Health. Both are invited to attend every meeting and provide members with an update on their recent activities.
