News: AUKUH supports Reshaping the Nursing Workforce Conference, February 22

The 6th annual Reshaping the Nursing Workforce conference will take place on Wednesday 22nd February 2012 at The King’s Fund, London W1.

Featuring a keynote address by Anne Milton MP, Minister for Public Health, this event will look at the integral role of education and training in delivering an expert workforce.

The success of the health care reforms depend on the evolution of the nursing workforce to face the challenges of the next decades. Nursing and midwifery education will be at the forefront of equipping nurses for wider roles working inside and outside hospital, as part of teams dealing with greater care at home and more long-term conditions. This conference will bring you up to date with the changes that the NHS reforms will mean for the nursing workforce and education providers.

Over 15 speakers will share their expertise and knowledge through a series of forward thinking sessions, panel debates and best practice seminars, including:
